It is my hope that everyone will take a moment and reflect on 2009 before we usher in 2010. My wish for all of you is success and joy in the coming year no matter what your goals are in life.
If you are out at a party please be safe and don't drink and drive. Get home safely so your goals and dreams can be realized by one and all.

My goal is The Story To Be Written, lol yes, THAT story that has been brewing, the dough that has waited for the yeast to rise, is now ready to be baked. Problem is, I know we all have a novel in us, and I have several, but I keep turning them into short stories. I love writing short stories. So the challenge is to remain steadfast, as usual to The Story.

Undertaker - Hold fast to your goal and when you feel the need to write it as a short story remind yourself that it is a novel (but have some ideas on the side so you can write short stories).
Hi Brian (my dyslexic self just write Brain, haha) thank you for your encouraging words. I seem to have a knack of taking the meat out of my novel attempts and cook up a refined, short sharp version of that story, as if that was all that was needed. But I will persevere : )
